In a world that’s getting more complex, unpredictable and disruptive, Unbounded Insights explores how we might find new possibilities - amidst the chaos - to move us towards a more thriving world.
I’m working with clients that are facing significant fiscal tightening, while navigating competing expectations across generations in the workplace, unknown impacts of generative AI, high levels of staff burnout, shifting market conditions forcing companies to rethinking their approach, while getting to grips with an increasing focus on ESG.
And in health systems where I worked for over 10 years, we’re seeing mounting pressures related to demographics, equity, access, and rising costs that are straining its capacity and sustainability.
Amidst all this, how do we harness the disruption and find possibilities that move us towards a more thriving organisation, delivering better outcomes for our staff, those we serve and the planet?
It can sometimes feel like a question that’s impossible to grapple with.
But this movement towards thriving can come from a shift in perspective, a better question, deeper sense-making, a new insight, a relationship that’s strengthened, hearing from part of the system that's been silent, greater psychological safety and capacity to sit with discomfort so we can talk about what’s really going on.
These shifts can change the trajectory of a challenge, opening previously unseen possibility.
They help us move beyond managing the current challenges to making real progress towards a thriving world.
